Economic Reform

Economic Policy: One of the essence of my campaign is to bring Economic Reform to Maryland. The current Economic crisis that has hit the United State and much of the World, must be solved responsibly. As Governor of Maryland I want to tackle the problem that plagues many Marylanders like unemployment, foreclosure, the tax system, and the declining standard of life that is harming Marylanders. Recently the Baltimore Sun reported “The state’s jobless rate increased from 4.5 percent in August, on a seasonally adjusted basis, making Maryland one of 21 states to record month-to-month increases in joblessness in September.” (Lorraine Morabella from the Baltimore Sun) Cutting Pork Barrel Spending I am in strong support of cutting the notorious “Pork Barrel Spending” In Maryland, I will be determined and aggressive in my approach to stop the wasting and misuse of your hard earned money.
